Producer, Engineer, and Pro Media Educator Mark Hornsby has a new series in Recording Magazine for 2008.

"Song Production in Pro Tools" is a twelve month series analyzing how to take a song from start to finish in Pro Tools. The song, "Childhood's End" is a progressive ballad from artist Nick D' Virgilio and the series will use the song to cover topics like: pre-production, tracking, overdubs, virtual instruments, track and vocal editing, mixing, and mastering.

Every month, the actual Pro Tools sessions will be available as a free download from Recording Magazine's website: http://recordingmag.com. Mark will also be posting additional blogs here and on his own website, http://www.markhornsby.org, to correspond with the series.
